Adding a fountain in the middle of a pond not only helps stir up the water but also add a distinct element of elegance. Planting ornamental grasses around the pond. Notice the canoe on the left side - great fun for the entire family. Stones and boulders can be gathered from your own farm or acreage, or brought in from elsewhere in the province. Boulders of different minerals will add different textures and colours to your garden.
Potentilla, native wetland plants such as sedges and cattails, and rhubarb are just some of the plants you can have in your water feature.
