Trees for Life ... Landscapes for Living
Stumps can be removed by digging, winching or grinding out. Digging or grubbing out is best used when the stump is quite small. The beauty of hiring For Trees is the full service we offer. Once a tree has been removed and the tree stump ground into woodchips, selecting a replacement is a snap, as we have over 10,000 trees and shrubs to choose from, raised on our 30 acre farm east of Didsbury. We only sell trees with a good-sized root ball, with enough sound roots to support healthy growth. For Trees Company prides itself on offering trees for sale free of mechanical wounds, and those with a strong form with well-spaced, firmly-attached branches. Tree Services

The importance of replacing dead trees
I need a planting picture for here.Planting trees is not only a nice thing to do - it's one way each of us can help improve the environment. Trees clean the air by giving off oxygen, storing carbon, and recycling moisture into the atmosphere.

You may be replacing a tree that was damaged by a storm or snow, but if you are replacing a diseased tree, use a variety that is resistant to the disease that killed its predecessor. Some diseases persist in the soil for decades.

We have the expertise to help you select a tree that is just right for you. We will look at your yard, analyze the soil, sun, prevailing winds, available space, and of course, overhead and underground utility lines, and give you a few options to choose from. We can plant your tree for you, and provide an after planting care program that will help you maintain successful establishment of the trees in your yard.

If you want to plant your own trees, make sure you read the How to Plant a Tree article from the ISA. Invite your friends and neighbours to a "Tree Planting" party. It's a great way to share your love of trees!
