Let us warm you up! There's nothing nicer than sitting in front of a roaring fire on a cold winter's night. And For Trees can help you enjoy just that! For Trees supplies split and seasoned firewood suitable for stoves, fireplaces, outdoor fire pits or camping. Our firewood only comes from trees that needed to be removed for various reasons, and no wild or forest trees were harmed in the process.

Burning urban and farm trees for firewood is an environmentally sustainable resource.

Affordably priced at $150/cord or about $75 per pickup truck full. (4’x4’x8’)

Winter Tree Safety
The onset of winter dormancy in late autumn means that winter pruning season is officially here! The months from November to April are the best for most routine pruning as the insects and diseases that can harm trees are dormant too. The canopies of trees are revealed without their leaves on at this time, making it easier to inspect and diagnose structural safety problems in trees. The recent storms have damaged and weakened many trees in our area. If you suspect your trees may have become unsafe, or trees need attention due to storm damage, broken, detached branches and deadwood, now is the time to call or send us an e-mail. Winter is also an excellent time for large tree removals around your home, farm or acreage, as the frozen soil will not be disturbed at all by our equipment at this time, and access to wet or soft, or steep areas is not usually a problem. Our expert and experienced arborists can handle any size tree pruning or removal project this winter safely and efficiently. For Trees provides you with the proper diagnosis, logistics and advice to protect and preserve your property and plan your future tree investments wisely. Make your environs safe this winter; call us to care for your trees! |
